960 Adhesive PU Foam (Straw)

Akfix 960 is a polyurethane adhesive foam designed for bonding and fixing rigid insulation boards — EPS, XPS, and mineral wool — to walls, ceilings, and floors. The foam also works well for securing window sills, skirting boards, and lightweight construction panels.

For best results, make sure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or grease — a light mist of water on the substrate can speed up curing. Apply the foam in strips or dots directly from the gun, press the panel firmly into place, and hold or brace it for a few minutes until the foam sets. Avoid applying too thick a layer, as the foam expands and can cause panels to bow if over-applied.
